Where and when is Botanic Festival 2026?

Botanic Festival 2026 takes place at Landgoed de Olmenhorst in Lisserbroek. The festival will be held on Saturday, July 25, from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Age and ID

Answer

The festival is 18+, and it is mandatory to present a valid ID (driver's license, passport, identification card, ID) for entry. Just a photo of any of the above will not suffice.

The line-up for Botanic Festival 2026 includes: Doppelgang, Deodaat, ESTRELLA, Inland Knights (UK), Kléo, Kyra Khaldi, Pancratio (IT), Rik Tan, and Vuur.

What does the program look like?

How do I get to the festival?

Answer

A shuttle service will run from Amsterdam RAI to the festival grounds between 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM. After the festival, shuttle buses will depart between 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM, stopping at Schiphol Airport before continuing to Amsterdam RAI. You can also travel by car, bike, or use the Kiss & Ride drop-off point.

Can I leave the festival and come back later?

Answer

Yes. If you leave the festival grounds, you'll be allowed back in by showing your festival wristband to security.

Can I stay overnight at the festival?

Answer

Yes! Book a camping spot, wake up surrounded by nature, and enjoy a relaxed brunch at the Pavilion on Sunday morning. Showers and toilets are available. Please bring your own tent.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Answer

No, outside food and drinks are not allowed. Drinking water is available at the campsite and throughout the festival. You'll also find a wide selection of fresh food during the festival and at Sunday brunch.

How can I pay at the festival?

Answer

Botanic Festival is completely cashless. We only accept contactless payments.

Are lockers available?

Answer

Yes, lockers are available on-site. You can reserve one through the ticket shop.

Is the festival accessible for wheelchair users?

Answer

Due to the natural terrain, the festival is less accessible for wheelchair users.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Luckily, the weather forecast looks great! If it does rain, we'll have ponchos available for everyone—and we'll simply embrace nature with a little rain dance.

Can I cancel my ticket?

Answer

Tickets are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, you can safely resell your ticket via TicketSwap.

If you cannot find your tickets in your mailbox, try retrieving them through Eventix (https://eventix.io/search). If this doesn’t work, please contact info@botanicfestival.com. In your email, please include the full name used during the ticket purchase along with your email address. We will then promptly assist you in resolving the matter.

Print ticket

It is not necessary to print out your ticket. In fact, we prefer tickets on the phone.

THE EVENT IS SOLD OUT, HOW CAN I GET A TICKET?

Unfortunately if the event is sold out, it is not possible to purchase tickets through Weeztix our ticketing platform. You can visit Ticketswap to join the waitlist or safely purchase a resale ticket.

Can i cancel my ticket?

Answer

It is not possible to cancel your tickets, however, you can sell them safely and securely through our official resale partner Ticketswap.

General information

As this festival finds place around the center of Amsterdam, please be aware that NO car parking is available around the festival site. Together with the municipality and the police roadblocks will be placed around the festival site. Cars parked in the neighborhood will be fined and/or towed.

Bike

Answer
The best and easiest way to visit the festival is by bike. There’s a dedicated spot for bike parking right next to the festival entrance. Navigate to Tuinen van West and follow the signs for ‘bike parking’.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

It is possible to visit the festival by bus from Amsterdam Central station: take bus 21 to Geuzenveld and get off at Sam van Houtenstraat. From there it is a 15-minute walk to the festival. We advice all visitors to come by bike. 

CAR parking

Answer
There are NO car parking spots available around the festival site. Together with the municipality and the police roadblocks will be placed around the festival site. Cars parked in the neighborhood will be fined and/or towed. We advise you to visit to festival by bike or via the shuttle bus. If you still want to visit the festival by car, an external car parking is made available by us at the Havenpark (near Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station). Navigate to ‘Wethouder van Essenweg’ and follow the signs.

From the parking site a shuttle bus will bring you to the festival site and vice versa - it is not possible to park and go to the festival on your own account. It is only possible to buy a parking + shuttle bus ticket. Buy your pre-sale parking + shuttle bus tickets here.

SHUTTLE SERVICE

Another easy way to visit the festival is via our arranged shuttle bus service from train and metro station Amsterdam Sloterdijk to the festival site and vice versa. The bus leaves every 10 minutes from 1.45pm on and keeps driving round trips the entire day until after the festival. A one-way trip takes approx. 15 minutes.

Buy your pre-sale return shuttle bus ticket on time here for € 14,99. It is also possible to buy your return shuttle bus ticket on site for € 17,50. Keep in mind that the last trains and metros at Amsterdam Sloterdijk depart between 00.00 and 01.00am, plan your trip in the 9292 app.

Kiss & ride

There are NO cars allowed around the festival site: together with the municipality and the police roadblocks will be placed around the festival site. We advise you to visit the festival by bike or via the shuttle bus. If you still want to be dropped off and picked up by car, kiss & ride is available at the parking site at Havenpark (near Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station). Navigate to ‘Wethouder van Essenweg’ and follow the signs. From here you’ll need to take the shuttle bus to the festival site.

There are multiple drinking water stations to refill your bottle and water bottles can be purchased at the bar.

There will be no (e-)cigarettes available for purchase.

medications

Answer

You can bring your medication only upon presentation of a prescription and/or a doctors note. The medication must be unopened.

Wheelchair access

Answer

The festival is wheelchair accessible, featuring special toilets and entrances. Wheelchair access is through the general entrance. Keep in mind that the terrain consists out of grass mostly. No prior registration is required.

Service dogs

Unfortunately it's not possible to bring along a service dog.

We are committed to sustainability to preserve the park. We use recycled plastic cups, operate a recycling system, accept only card payments, and offer different food possibilities.

We strive to create a safe and welcoming festival environment for everyone. All social norms and values are upheld on the premises. Any form of threats, violence, discrimination, or sexual harassment will not be tolerated.

lockers

Answer

Lockers will be available. You can purchase a locker in advance, and we will send an email with a link to all ticket holders once they are available. At the festival, you can also buy a locker using QR-codes and payment methods like iDEAL. Additionally, there will be an information point for lockers at the festival.

Neighbour information

Answer

Ten days before the event, residents within the municipality's distribution area will receive a neighborhood letter. The letter will contain information about park accessibility and the opportunity to register for a chance to win residents' tickets for the festival. We will also host a tour and several activities for our neighbours. More on this will be added later in this FAQ.
